🏆️Special night for St Annes Keidokwai 2 year anniversary!️🏆️
What an honour it truly is for me to share the mat with amazing children and incredible people. So blessed to be given the time to everyone that comes down to take part!
With a night filled with fun, energy and progression! We awarded the children with loads of giveaways which included the ultimate player of the week, player of the year, Anniversary medal and also 2 new Yellow belts!
The senior mat Played host to so much talent and experience as we also witnessed 2 new Green belts earn their grade!
When I was a child I was asked in class what my goals were. I said I wanted to open my own Judo club in which everyone in my class laughed at me for saying.
It was mentioned recently to me that running a club is tough but starting one from scratch takes something special. Starting a Judo club from scratch has not been difficult at all for me. Because we have that something special. We have an amazing family of children, adults, parents, coaches that always support one another and aim to elevate this club to new heights.
This is not my club, this is our club!
I am so grateful to be able to do this week after week. Thank you so so much to all our children, parents, club coaches, teammates, players, students and everyone else.
Major thanks to Steven and Dan for help with the kids class tonight and arranging the new judo mats.
Proud to be Keidokwai. Enjoying what we are doing, excited about the future!!
